With all the amazing weather we’ve been having, my mind has been stuck in summer-land. Never mind the fact that it’s only february, I’m already making plans and getting excited. Here are a few pictures that have encouraged my summer daydreams lately:

With this long-awaited winter break free-time, I plan to turn this into a real blog that I actually keep up with. For reals this time, I swear!
This holiday season I got crafty and made (almost) all of my presents. The gifts I did buy were either vintage or purchased from the artist, so I can proudly boast that I contributed no money to crappy corporations. That’s a first for me, and it definitely feels good!
I’m especially excited that I tried something that’s been on my to-do list for a long time: making rubber stamps. I printed my own wrapping paper (see above) and cards, and I’m pretty happy with the results. Expect more of this sort of thing in the weeks to follow!
Overall it’s been a really nice week of late-night crafting parties, dinner with friends, and lots of family time. And now in the aftermath of the finals/holiday whirlwind, I’m trying to remember how to relax again
